  • Be a part of a dynamic and global organization that operates in both the U.S and Vietnam
  • Network with Vietnamese start-up teams, sponsor partners, officials, judges and mentors of VietChallenge 
  • Learn about the start-up ecosystem in both the U.S and Vietnam 
  • Team-building activities in Boston (for those in the U.S only)
  • Gain experience directly from successful entrepreneurs, startups founders, specialists, in the U.S and Vietnam
  • On-site internship opportunities available during the summer and/or school year at VietChallenge’s Headquarter at the Venture Development Center – University of Massachusetts Boston 
  • Full-time job opportunities from a wide range of VietChallenge’s partners including big corporations and startups in the U.S and Vietnam


  • Negotiate and work with sponsors and partners to raise funds for VietChallenge
  • Finalize proposals, draft agreements with sponsors; build and update a database for future uses
  • Develop fundraising strategies and action plans throughout different projects
  • Work with media, press and collaborate with Marketing team to promote potential startups and VietChallenge
  • Manage, maintain contacts and follow up with investors, venture capitalists, sponsors, guest speakers, mentors, judges, government officials, media, press and honor guests on a regular basis to address their concerns, if any
  • Travel to clients, partners to make deals and finalize agreements on behalf of VietChallenge, if possible (all expenses, including travel and accommodation are paid or reimbursed by VietChallenge)


  • Proficient command of English and Vietnamese (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in fundraising, seeking/working with sponsors, clients and government officials is an advantage
  • Strong skills in writing letters, drafting proposals and agreements, composing emails and legal documents
  • Responsiveness and ability to meet deadlines are a must
